Actually I know the answer to this, but here's the situation.
I ask online about different types of ammo for a .40 cal gun, and people assume I'm going to committ "terrorism" with it? Telling me it's juvenile to consider such things, but I don't exactly see where they're coming from. Yes, gun crimes are committed, but I'm asking about different types of ammo, and I get called out for being "irresponsible?"
As far as talking about "responsible gun owners," I am, and am not sure how someone can claim such a distinction for me for such a trivial topic in conceptuality and curiosity. and it's not going to be me who gives us "responsible gun owners" a bad rep. It's going to be the person who buys the beretta 50 cal sniper rifle they have on sale at my gun store and uses it to snipe students. I never have, nor ever will, plan, think about, or consider committing a crime with a gun.
The news/media and this stupid ass "war on "terror"" is really messing with the public mind as a whole. Why are people so skiddish that if anyone has anything to do with something "dangerous," theyre automatically going to committ a crime? I feel bad for all you guys who fall into that category. The mass media is a scare tactic. You know, if these public shootings didn't get so much damn coverage, it wouldn't happen as much.
Someone suggested I join the military, in a sarcastic response...
Screw the military. I wouldn't join unless America was invaded, and even then it depends on the nature of the invasive force.
