the quality of your next incarnation will be improved through spiritual practice in this one, no matter how little you do - it's very valuable

I figure my rescue work with abused and abandoned dogs will do more. (I hope to be reborn as a golden retriever). It's more satisfying anyway. Although I do like to meditate most of the time.

sounds like good work

you really want to be a dog though? i've heard it's very difficult to get out of the animal realm, and there's a lot of suffering there - it's definitely a spiritual regression heh

"Who are you?" The caterpillar on the mushroom asked this as well, it must be an important question.

YOu hear wrong I'll bet. Other animals don't addictively  crave and so don't suffer nearly as much as humans. My dogs play eat and sleep. No responsibilities except being themselves. Not a chance they have it tougher than us. The only thing that can make a dog miserable is a human.

What percentage of believers reach Nirvana? There must be many millions of Buddhists on the planet right now. How many have reached Nirvana?  What's your best guess.

Trick question alert!

I wouldn't know.
I've met people with uncanny wisdom though,

Many Buddhists are too exclusive, as in they limit themselves as "Buddhists" and don't embrace any other schools of thought. Sufism and Vedantism are different and have as much to offer as Buddhism.

5%

The term Five Percent comes from NOI doctrine that sees the world population divided into three groups: 85% of the people are blind to the knowledge of themselves and God, while 10% of the people know the truth but teach a lie for their personal gain; seen as part of this 10% are religious leaders that teach that God is an incorporeal being (hence the term "mystery God"). The 10% also includes the governments and corporations of the world that deceive and mislead the majority of the world through most of the available media outlets. The remaining 5% are the poor righteous teachers — those who do not subscribe to the teachings of the 10% as they know and teach that God is the Blackman of Asia. Black in Five-Percent doctrine includes all human beings, regardless of ethnicity, who adhere to the Black-Hearted Perspective or the Way of Love, and Asia refers to the whole planet Earth, or Pangaea.
