The vast majority of tantra doesn't have anything what so ever to do with sex.

IMO of course.

Ive read many book and they all point to that same idea.

Or the concept of sexual energy, sexual intercourse is just one way to learn to master it. I tihnk that is what right hand tantra is someone please correct me.

yeah tantra has very little to do with sex - sexual embrace may be used as a tool or a mudra (posture) - but as far as the theory goes it plays little to no importance really. maybe hindu tantra is more in this line (i haven't studied it at all), but at least for buddhist tantra this isn't the case - hence why there are monastics in tantric buddhism (vajrayana).

IMO Osho does a good job with the tantra idea... He compares it to Yoga which can be about austerity and controlling the mind, whereas tantra is about simply being aware of everything you do... whether that is sex, meditation or simply hanging out with friends. Sex is a part of it, but not anymore of a part then it is with anything else. And I agree tantra is good because it does not suppress sexual stuff.

Osho is cool, i have his book of secrets. Damn big ass book like the bible X2 lol.

I havent practiced enough with osho's meditations, have any of you made any progress with any of his techniques, and recommend any of them?
