i think opinions like these are the result of only taking into account one aspect of the many that go into any given situation. in this case narrowly focusing on economic principles while totally blinded to all the different aspects that are at play. it assumes that the world is made up of robots who only think in terms of monetary gain. thereby leading one to feel justified in dismissing anything outside the scope of their chosen lense, in this case basic economics, as "bullshit" or "nonsense"

Which is precisely the world view espoused by this very video, in assuming that political leaders and wealthy businessmen, expressed as food management strategies, are more interested in the health of their bank account than the health of humans. Even going beyond any benefit that they derive from poisoning the well, one must first provide proof that any "they" exists. When you look for it you'll find an elaborate system of interdependent relationships rather than evil, manipulative thrones.

The scope of my chosen lens? 

My chosen lens is biased like everyone else's, but it is built upon years of international travel, higher education, and working in proximity to government officials. I've still never seen the wizard behind the curtains.

you mentioned eugenics. if they are engaging in it, it would seem to indicate they value population reduction over money. that was my point. i dont think theyre "evil" either, but i do find their apparent ends and methods questionable at best, objectionable at worst.

im not talking about biases but of solely focusing on the economics side of it.

you can know everything about economics there is to know but youre still only looking at at a fraction of the picture.

and thinking the reasons behind it are purely economic and saying "what isn't there" seems like jumping to conclusions.

Economics is what it comes down to. It is what manages the food supply.

GM foods are a result of economics, gene selection and breeding are too, as is agribusiness monopolies, importation, illegal workers, and farm out-sourcing.

You aren't left with much other than economics after photosynthesis.

As much as I dislike the way Alex Jones presents information this Food video is totally worth it.

I think that what he says here is valuable, and yeah we should be careful as fuck with our food. Especially GMOs..fuck that.

When I have my own place I want to grow all my own food.

high chances that they are just cheaper to use or easily sold for high profit and therefore were made legal with the influence of money

they're not trying to harm you, but it they will make more money using the things that do.

I'm still watching the videos(he is oddly entertaining), but so far I don't see anything significant to the contrary.

proof of personal agendas? I finished the video, all of it seemed motivated by money. A couple quotes saying that the world pop. should be decreased 80% isn't very compelling.

Also, I'm not looking at it in one way, it's just the most obvious cause. This is expected to happen when corporations only strive to make money and government is influenced by their money.
