PEACE

"in times of widespread chaos and confusion, it has been the duty of more advanced human beings - artists, scientists, clowns, and philosophers - to create order. In such times as ours however, when there is too much order, too much m management, too much programming and control, it becomes the duty of superior men and women and women to fling their favorite monkey wrenches into the machinery. To relieve the repression of the human spirit, they must sow doubt and disruption"

"People do it every day, they talk to themselves ... they see themselves as they'd like to be, they don't have the courage you have, to just run with it."

I have a book of his I managed to pick up pretty cheap. In his earlier days he did a series of photographs on a dead dog he found. Every week he would take a picture to document decomposition. He also went the the animal control place and found out how roadkill is recycled. That was pretty terrifying. NEVER eat dog food.

While he was working in a morgue, he drew a picture of a dead woman he worked on getting fucked titled "Necrophilia". That night in his dream he was in a courthouse and she was screaming at him. The judges put him on "permanent probation" (his words) and told him to make his art more positive. And here we are today....

We love you Alex! Keep painting and I'll buy prints to stick on my wall. One time I was tripping and the cosmic christ came out of his little frame for a visit. That was pretty cool. I appreciated that. It was a nice little touch that made the artwork complete :tongue2:

Amazing artist, I have his sacred mirrors/transfigurations box set. The case turns into a sort of altar with two of his prints forming a kind of wall on the inside of the case. Was very amazing on my last trip.

Grey somehow manages to bring into the physical world what is seen on a tripping level. Each mushroom trip, I am amazed at how similar my visuals, CEVs especially, are to his artwork. Great stuff. :mushroom2:
