So I agree with you, but find your assessment of how much Israel supports the rights of it's citizens (Particularly when it is not their right to bulldoze) misinformed.

Israel and the occupied territories have been constantly featured in unbiased lists of international destinations where the government is hostile toward free press (AKA Media Predators). So these types of things are relatively unsurprising to me.

The reactions here are kinda funny though, it seems that there is an online army that spurs to defend Israeli imperialism (AKA Zionism) far faster and with more vitriol and posturing than they do american imperialism. Yet there is never anyone who advocates for Jihad in such a manner. The main problem is that, other than god's criticisms, the Israeli action apologists/deniers often resort to this absurd rhetoric about concentration camps or suicide bombers/jihad rather than discussing the issues.

U.S. support of Israel motivates terrorists, which jeopardizes the safety of our troops, and also jeopardizes the safety of our country here at home. and don't forget about the financial support of Israel which comes at the expense of U.S. tax payers here at home... funny that we are in the worse economic recession since the Great Depression yet we can afford to give Israel billions while our own people are going jobless and hungry at a higher and higher rate.

Here is my problem. AIPAC represents a small minority view in the USA, a view which advocates for billions in funding and military support despite the fact that our country is literally in the worst economic recession since the great depression. Look here, and you will see that AIPAC is listed as the Number 2 or 3 most influential lobbying group in the USA:
