But older why not It should be your choice anyways.

You don't need to be married to love someone to death or be there thick and thin

Of course alot of women do enjoy the whole marriage thing and dream of it happening one day
Of course many others do not and it go's hand in hand


I know of people who have been married for 30+ years
I know of people who have been "living together" for 30+ years

The relationship?? Is the same for both the only difference is one couple has a few thousand dollar gold rings around there finger

And to tell you the truth the relationship for the un-married couple is in better shape then the married couple (both 30 years)

I think money has alot to do with it

Really? Do you have some sort of information or research to back this up.. Was there a discovery channel i missed or something? All learn to spell when you learn to teach yourself the right from wrong.

I am pretty young (23) and been married for 2 years, I didnt want to get married its pretty pointless if you ask me, but we want to be together and our families didnt "GET" that.

We got married mostly so our families would step out of our lives. We lived together for several months before getting married but our families (mostly his) would ALWAYS be messing with our business as if we were both their kids. . .it was the only way we found to make them REALIZE we are indipendent grow up people and we need our space.

Our relationship hasnt changed much, we still have fun, go on dates, trip on stuff, fuck like bunnies, etc. . .

BTW - whats wrong with tattoes? I like tatts!

Reading all the other posts . ..hmmm. I dunno which to reply to, but I want to add this.

As I said I am a girl, as I said I am married and I didnt want to be + I DONT want to have kids

Not all girls are the same, many ARE obsessed with the simple idea of "the wedding day" even if they are not in love, even if they dont have any active plans of marriage. However, there MANY are girls, like me, who have been spared this stupid fantasy.

100USD a plate for 50 or so people I dont even know, 1000USD for a dress, equal or more for a pair of rings?? Spending thousands of dollars on an event that 1st) will hopefully only happen once in your life 2nd) Will force you to be stuck in front of people for 5+ hrs in an expensive but most likely uncomfortable dress and equally cheesy and uncomfortable shoes... EW!!

I personally think that TO ME marrige IS stupid, but i'm a hippy goth metal chick that would rather spend 1000USD on a Gibson than on a piece of jewlery and would rather stay home and sit in the dark naked with my boy and my guitar than . . .anything else really! (my marrige consisted of me and my hub throwing somthing on 10min before we had to be in court, then signing a paper and then going to LOTUS to get drunk)

But thats me, and what *I* think is right and what *I* think is stupid.

We are all different, different things make us feel good/bad/secure/etc. and I truly believe marrige, even though *I* think is stupid, IS the right thing for many other people.
