They consider themselves at war with us. What would you expect them to feel? I'm certainly sure that we often feel joy in killing our enemies. At least it seems so at the corner bar.

Before the white man the American Indians were basically on the same playing field etc.

In WW2 the major players all seemed to have an air force and navy and similar technology

People here have stated that our "enemy" is a second class adversary but I say give them the same technology and we are done invading their country. Considering what they have to fight with they do amazingly well in the long term. Look at Viet Nam, look at how long Afghanistan has been at war. Do you remember when Bush basically declared the war in Iraq won?:tongue: Or maybe you're not old enough to remember that.:lol:

What do you think?  It's some kind of game?  Fight to win, whatever.  This isn't a handicap bowling tournament, for fuck sake.  Drive your enemies before you and hear the lamentations of their women. 

When did both sides ever have the same technology and resources?  Having advantages in those are part and parcel of fighting a war.  This isn't a fucking paintball game.

I'm just noticing and not saying it's not good to have better technology. I'm just curious why with all this great technology we can't outright win these wars. And if it's because our own govt won't let us then we have lame govt. I'm all for wiping our enemies completely off the face of the earth with the possible exception of slaves.

when fighting against each other, of course then you haev to account for
strategy.  didnt you also mention europeans, where was that equality
then, what about when stone was traded for bronze and bronze for iron,
there's never an equality in war

Who cares, lets be the tough guys we claim to be. No mercy for the enemy and we can expand our territory. If we do it right in the end the whole Monopoly board will belong to us.
