Physics makes us all it's bitches
    #12493858 -

You, me, everyone and everything are perfectly calculated chemical reactions. This moment, the past, and the future were exactly determined at the moment of the big bang, or likely before that. You ability to make choices is an illusion. Each person is the result of the way they were born combined with the life they were put through, neither of which they had any control over. To judge others is to judge the entire universe, of which you are a part. To hate others is to hate yourself. To love yourself entirely is to love the entire universe. To understand everything is to forgive everything.

That directly conflicts the theories of physics.  In physics, this moment is not exactly determined by the moment before it.

You could be right, but science hasn't concluded that either way yet. I personally don't think there are any variables that "I" have control over. I don't see where that would be necessary.

Science doesn't draw final conclusions.

True, let me rephrase

You could be right, but we'll never know so it doesn't matter. I personally don't think there are any variables that "I" have control over. I don't see where that would be necessary.

We have "control" over very few things, if any.

What it comes down to, as is the point of this thread, is that no human can rightfully be judged by another human. That is an opinion, but it is an opinion backed by many of the wisest philosophers, including Buddha and Jesus. I believe that the adoption of that view into my life has made me happier, and that it will do the same for anyone else who adopts it.

What exactly do you understand by rightful and how can you possibly know what will make every other human happy?

Did anyone ever stop to think that since determinism is out, maybe the universe intended to create life and Earth is a good example, probably one of many many many examples? Hmm... and what about as above so below? If we're created from matter then there's no discontinuity - matter is alive as well.

I dont see how lack of a strict determinism implies purposeful creation of life by 'the universe'.

I kinda have the feeling that any further explanation I offer you is only going to lead to more irrelevant debate over definitions and semantics. It wasn't worded flawlessly, but anyone who'd get anything useful out of my post would have gotten it in the form that it's in.

In other words, you don't know what you are talking about, and now we know that.

You make it all possible. Doesn't it feel good?
