I suppose everyone is different, but I have read and heard quite a few times that using psychadelics during puberty/when your brain isn't fully developed CAN be a bad idea. This is coming from the likes of McKenna and other prominent people in the field.

can always take an anti-anxiety herb along with it.

Honokiol, Lemon-Balm or Kratom for instance (+CBD).
Honokiol works well for me. I have 6 diagnosed anxiety disorders.

Or use a diffuser to evaporate some essential oils. Lemon/citrus is very good at alleviating anxiety without making you drowsy like Lavender.

Also, I haven't heard of honokiol before, will put it on my list to check out. I already like using lemon balm. I'm going to be growing moldavian dragonhead balm this year so I can give it a try.

Regarding Honokiol.
It acts on GABA receptors but is non addictive, it reduces cortisol the stress hormone, is 1000x a more potent anti-oxidant than vitamin E and reduces chronic inflamation including in the brain as it can cross the blood-brain-barrier.

amazing stuff. And cheap. Swanson brand is 20p for a 200mg pill.
apparently it is more potent an anxyiotic than Diazepam:

Reading about Honikoil now. The price varies wildly. Can anyone on this thread vouch for a particular brand? I suffer greatly with insomnia, it sounds like it could be a help. I might start a thread in the medicinals forum tbh.
