Is it posible to trip on shrooms w/out smoking pot

I've noticed everytime I've eaten musrooms all I've ever gotten is a slight headache until I smoke some herb. But, right now I'm in the predicament of not being able to smoke. Do I just need to eat a larger dose or what?

i guess its probley different for everyone...when i smoke dope after i have just eaten some shrooms i find it takes longer for the shrooms to kick in and the trip isnt as intense if i just eat the shrooms and not smoke any herb.

I have a friend like that, and the shrooms he's had were good quality. Some people are just more unfortunate than others. But of course, if you eat a fuck load, you'll trip.

Yo you can always trip on mushrooms without the aide of herb.


People just smoke because it enhances the experience. And when you feel your trip coming down, smoking helps bring back some of the effects.




I always find myself burning through massive amounts of weed when I'm tripping. Those joints are great. Even the act of smoking is quite trippy on shrooms.

Pot isn't required to trip on shrooms in the first place, it helps aid the trip for some and can do other things for others, depending on the user themself.

smoking marijuana seams to have no effect on me when im tripping hard. I usually just wait to smoke till the come down. I dont like to smoke on the come up, makes the trip seam clearer and nicer.

We agree with baraka. My cat and I usually only smoke after the peak to intensify and lengthen the trip some. An occasional nitrous oxide balloon is good too. The best time to dose is when you are well rested. Try tripping on several grams a couple hours after you get up and eat. We find our heads are clear and the experience is usually better. Meow.

I have found that pot and I don't get along at all, so I don't mix it with anything!

I agree with most here, you may just be one of those who are not very sensitive to shrooms. Good luck

It is possible, yes, to trip without some weed to aid you. My first shroom trip was just with a dosing of shrooms and that was it and it was the best shroom trip I have had yet....

The last 2 times I have had pot in my system (ingesting cookies and toking) it caused me to trip hard and bad.....my 4th time dosing, I smoked some pot and wham! the shrooms kicked in and this scared me and I started tripping bad.....

as other ppl have said, shrooms and pot works for some, and not others.

He'd trips his balls off for a little longer than normal, probably black out and end up in a hospital or with people surrounding him..

Try eating more, btw. What was the dose you didnt trip off of? Some people here dose like 2 grams and dont trip so hard, then they try and they're like.. omg im so fuxed up mang omfggggggggggg. So.. try eating more.

I'm v sensitive to herb, so if I smoke mid trip it'll propel me to heights I may not want to reach.  I usually wait til near the end if I want a boost, or even the next day.

Completely Organic medicine like mushrooms and cannabis don't seem to give much of an extended duration when consuming large quantities, for the most part only higher intensity. Cannabis has gotten me high for a touch over 24 hours when I've consumed a large quantity of edibles, but mushrooms, even at a half ounce, only lasted a few hours longer than a standard 3.69 dose. Although the distance traveled was much greater!

Synthetics, such as LSD, often give both increased duration & intensity with high doses.

How about this people, been thinking about this a lot. On those really really special trips where you go beyond metaphysics, and everything is just, well, wonderful, I generally haven’t smoked cannabis, but also the trips have n]been from fresh mushrooms. I reckon dried mushrooms do lack something, some “je ne sais quoi”, which makes cannabis mush more attractive.

I must say, I really do enjoy how cannabis sometimes enhances, intensifies, and lengthens a mushrooms trip. Sometimes though it just sucks.

I don't even want to try dried mushrooms after doing fresh for this first grow op of mine. Might have to get a dehydrator at some point if I get enough fruit though :mushroom2:

IDk about the necromancy going on, but I hope to test DJ Ed's theory soon.  If the winds blow correctly, maybe some fresh Mazatapec in my future.  And I will report back on the “je ne sais quoi”.

I've got the quality sensimilla, but will abstain at least until the later portion.

Dude, if you’ve got fresh Mazatapec in the near future, you will not need cannabis. It is the most intense trip I have ever had, yet at the same time, the most welcoming. It was like the mushrooms were telling me, it’s going to be alright, you just sit back, and enjoy. It was one of the. Most awesome trips. Kicked in at 20mins, at 40mins out of body, at 60mims absolute peaking my pants off. Amazing dude enjoy :wonka:

I don't recall ever mixing weed and mushrooms - seems like a disservice to both.  In fact I recall one very intense trip where the mushrooms promised incredible stuff if I quit weed altogether.  That was easy - I did it, and they delivered exactly as promised.  Hadn't touched weed again again in years until last summer when I got into the legal stuff here.  It's great, but it can't compare remotely to even a low level mushroom experience.  I'll have to quit it again before I start tripping heavy or I know there'll be consequences. :laugh2:

But then WTF do I know. :utterconfusion:


Except, yes, fresh is better. :snoopyes:

This thread is silly :lol: Of course u can trip without cannabis. I prefer shrooms by themselvea oe mixed with LSD. Might smoke herb on the shroom comedown but i prefer a more Pure Experience of just Shrooms.
