Had to make the comment, it was too funny not to. I actually did turn my head away and close my eyes and refocus to make sure it was an animated .gif or something or just me.

Still, there's always fun to be had from old posts. If not, there'd be very few boards still going out there. Forums in general are kept alive and exciting by peaople unknowingly answering 10 yaer old posts or, unfortunately, trolls. It's like going past a car crash.

Now, pm me that .gif :laugh:

Old post? Why care. It's sort of like dissing a library because the books have been on the shelves for a long time. Anyhow, aside from Benzos, if you can make it to the shower take a cold one, or a hot one. Thermoregulation is usually a key component of a trip. Shocking your body will ground you.

I find alcohol is great for calming someone down and losing paranoid thoughts, I have used it many times to smooth a trip out and take away any paranoid feelings, negative thoughts, alcohol is a pretty crap drug but it is good for ridding the mind of fear, It will not bring you down but it will help if a trip becomes too negative or paranoid.
I recommend no more than an amount that would get you a little drunk "tipsy" even, the idea is not to get drunk but just to relax the part of the mind that worries :smile:
I also realise that people will frown upon someone suggesting to use alcohol on a trip, but many would frown on someone using mushrooms. It's worked for me and others facing some pretty intense thoughts and it works pretty fast.

I KNOW some will disagree with me on this! For me when I have been "peaking" to hard I have been able to use weed to knock me down a bit. Something for me about hitting a bong a few times that calms me down and keeps me level. I much prefer weed while tripping for some reason, although I never feel like I am getting high lol.
