As a teen I knew a girl that did. Fucking gnarly scars all over her arms. Of course it didnt magically cure her problems, only compounded them.

I have cut myself at 13 years old a few times, then I really went off the deep end and cut the living FUCK out of my arm 4 times when I was 21.

And you know what? it felt fucking great.

get it out of your system if you have to. i felt so liberated, lol. but then when youre done start thinking to yourself why are you so depressed that you have to cut yourself, and deal with the problems instead of cutting.

but it did feel pretty good :thumbup:. oh and dont use a steak knive, this scar probably wont go away for years to come...

Cutting yourself with only leave you with physical scars in addition to the mental scars.  Those scars will just be another horrible reminder to look at 20 years from now when life is much better. 

If you want to punish yourself for being a shit-bag, go run 10K.  That's plenty of punishment right there.  BTW, 10k = 6.2 miles.

Cutting is psychological.

It creates the illusion of control over your life once you have not control left.

If you start cutting, then you will have to quit. So, don't start. It's addictive like all other self destructive behavior.

Well since #1 is bein a puss I'm going to hi jack his thread.

I am a self mutiltator. I do it every day and I can't help it. I have acne and instead of fixing the problem I get enjoyment out of making huge gaps on my back. Dunno how to fix the problem. Changed my diet and it doesn't help, tried to stop picking but they still come back. Shit I'm about to be 22 and don't know how to fix this.

Help please.
