anyone else a mucic nomad?
    #12168272 -

i can't seem to find a genre of music that can hold my interest, I've gone from the pink floyd, to modest mouse, to modest mouse, to bombay bicycle club, to explosions in the sky and boards of candada.

I can't find any single genre to stick to to. It's maddening I feel like I'm forever doomed to wander the halls of music sub-genres. All I want is one thing I can stick too...(maybe not) I love all this variety

I'm drunk and rambling....so if anyone wants tot talk about music or
t reccomend me some music it's always welcome. I can;t' see hpw any anyone
can limit thier mysic preferences to one genre. te

thre's just so much to listen to. it's all so different, all so great so.

this stuff is sick. I completely agree. as long as it's quality i'll listen to it. instrumentals have recently been my latest thing hangup. i've been itching for some quality dnb though. bass has been piquing my interest lately.

I definitely am a music nomad although I do keep souvenirs. I started out with ska in my high school days, then moved slowly to hip hop. When I got to college I discovered classic rock and was reintroduced to Pink Floyd, Bob Dylan, The Dead and all of that. These days I am going through an electronic phase though I still listen to a good amount of hip hop and classic rock. Still got a ways to go :jamming:

Thats pretty fucking general dude.

I'm sure there are some people who are perfectly intelligent that don't even really pay much attention to music.:aum:

I'm really digging these guys right now, I'll have to check them out in the morning to make sure it's not just the vodka.

Yeah, I always feel weird when I have to try and eplain my musical tastes to people. There's just too much to share in those short moments. There's so much amazing music out there right now, and only so few words to describe it.

I think everyone gets the point I'm trying to make.

But in case they don't:

Call me whatever you want but if you even pretend to like music more than just background noise or filler at a bar then you should be listening to more than a couple genres. If not you're an idiot in my mind.

Yess!!....passion pit kicks ass.
I couldn't care less either. people's impressions and beliefs about music means nothing to me.

whether it's mainstream or "indie as fuck" i'll give it a chance.

music is music, and it makes the world go 'round.
