If you ever play drinking games for the hell of it.  Take a drink everytime a black person dies.

You can't make it through the movie.

Go see it polly its a good movie!

Some people are even thinking of investing in diamonds, which is on par with investing into the roulette wheel.

The diamond industry incinerates over a ton of jewelry grade diamonds every year to artificially keep the price high. This is not conspiracy talk, google it.

Watch that movie and realize that a lot of those diamonds are simply thrown into the incinerator to drive prices up.

Its not that they wouldn't wear them, its just that they don't have money

I just googled it, and couldn't find anything.  Do you have any links?

I always thought that De Beers just stockpiled everything they mined, and controlled the price of diamonds by limiting the supply that they released.

Anyway, here is an interesting article on the diamond industry:

The fire has many things to teach.
But so does the human experience.. which is like fire, sometimes you just need to stoke the coals and sometimes you just need to add a log or reposition the log matrix. But a well built fire will be much more self-sustaining than a poorly built one, and they all need love to grow. And don't fuck around or your might burn yourself. Must always respect the fire. - Shroomism

yea i think its great that he's shed the teen heartthrob image. especially when you knew his potential from early one with movies like "What eating gilberts grape". i think the movie that really launched him into good actor category was "Catch Me If You Can" i'm happy he's playing really good roles.

The movie that sold me on him was The Departed, then I saw The Aviator after that and thought his portrayal of Howard Hughes was Oscar-worthy.

Blood Diamond is a badass movie, and Leo delivers as always.

If you liked Blood Diamond, check out Body of Lies. I just saw it yesterday at the recommendation of a friend and it was  :awethumb:

Same thing happened to me when I played Neil Armstrong in Moonshot. They found me in an alley in Burbank trying to re-enter the earth's atmosphere in an old refrigerator box.
