There is no god, simply because it has not yet been created.

In my personal observations the universe works on a "From the bottom to the top" method.
starting in a basic chaotic existence and ascending to a peaceful order of a thing that could be called a god.

your idea only works if we assume that this is the first time to be positioned in the present plot of evolutionary history.  the universe is constantly expanding and contracting; therefore we could consider the possibility that before our big bang there was another universe expanded to its limits and at the peak of its own evolution.  following the logic of your idea, this could have yielded a god, allowing him/her/it to exist even throughout the early stages of our present universe's evolution. 

even still this paradigm doesn't work because there must be an entity, spiritual or otherwise, responsible for the creation of initial matter/energy and so on.  the issue that remains inconceivable for me is the existence of god infinitely, without beginning. we as finite beings understand time linearly with a beginning and end.  so how can anything transcend this conception?
