1) First let the cut end dry
2) Then set it vertically on loose soil

thanks for contributing though

yeah well with the amount of contradicting information on these forums and the amount of REAL confusion people have still after they get help here, i thought that would be a nice pdf to share, thank you.

and it has a pictorial for how to do the log method, and pictures to go along with everything, and its pretty clear that the guy knows his shit. i cant tell if you know your shit though. see the difference asshole?

LOL. you're right. We should all spam and flood the forums. My above quote was copy pasted from your link.

Instead, lets all praise and appreciate someone who boasts about his unwillingness to do business with people who post on the shroomery, because we only use our cacti for consumption. unlike bbb........

I guess I was wrong. Turns out there is someone out there that requires a pictured guide to help put their cutting in the soil.

You should try reading the rules of the forums you're posting in before complaining. Go a page back, this forum is constantly helping people who are new to the hobby.
Its also full of people who grow cacti and other plants for reasons other than consumption. There are plenty of us who grow cacti without mescaline and choose not to consume our plants for reasons better than 'oh, it was a gift, so I cant'

...did you even read my post? I made no implications on the intentions of your friend. lol I'm really hoping your just shitfaced and not this ignorant.

Fact is, this forum has been helpful for a lot of people. When I saw the thread name, I was expecting someone new to the hobby asking for a BB clone identification and I was going to help. I also wasn't being sarcastic when I said "thanks for contributing"

No reason to be a douche about it.

This thread has been closed.

Reason:
The link was directly to the PDF, which I didnt mind.

But there were inside links to other plant growing vendors.

We try to help people as much as possible, and if I recall, tried to help you when you first got your cuttings.

Many of us love our cacti and are in it for the hobby and not just for consumption.

This vendor is sadly mistaken in saying that this is all we care about, I especially, love all my cacti and treat them as best as I know how and know where in this does it include consumption.

Thank you for trying to help noobies out, but next time either copy and paste or simplify the information.

-Dan
