They test for the standard NIDA 5, but if your commander has a reasonable suspicion that you're doing something else, they can do extended testing.

Coming back from leave is a guaranteed piss test. if you're on a two week block and smoke the first day or two you'll be fine.

It's a little early in your career to mess up like that. It'll kill your chance of being promoted or getting any extra training.

Highly highly doubt I'll go through with it, there's too much risk involved and not quite worth it, though I beleive with a ton of liquid and exercise it'd be beatable but like...why put yourself through that?

as much as you want to smoke i really dont see the pros outweighing the cons. smoking would definately not be a smart idea. wouldnt want to ruin your future would you?

just wait until you know for sure you wont be drug tested for atleast a few weeks and then toke up. :ganja:

When does marijuana completely leave the system anyway?

Like there's a difference between in showing up in your urine and showing up on a deeper chemical level isn't there?

Military does  a regular strip test. If you fail it then goes to GS/MS wth a 15 cut of. Theres a whole AR online if you want to read thier cut off scores. Dont do it man failing is a 50 percent chance of ruining your life. You will get no where with a dis honorable who wants you if even the military doesnt. I've only had one drug test in the miitary that didnt matter and that was my IRR callback drug test. I;ve see guys get kicked out for weed and ive seen guys lose 1 rank no extra duty or loss of pay. Play it safe man in a couple years you will be back out and can be enjoy freedom again. When you use your Gi bill and benefits trust me you will be happy you didnt smoke.

Concurred it's just too risky, but this topic fascinates me, about how human beings can gamble away their whole lives for perhaps two hours of mental freedom

Book-worthy material I tell you, and once I set my sights on a topic I can't easily let up on it, but how in the fuck do you just approach a service member and ask "hey, have you smoked pot? If so, can I ask you how you felt?"

I hate it when they cut off my psots

I figured a wealth of experience would be from here. I know there's a few former/current service members here and I'd like to see how they felt about being high vs. the impending urine test

weed stays in your system for up to a month.
however there have been some studies showing that chronic users who then stop smoking have a shorter period of time for the drug leaving their body.

as far as if it stays in your system compared to if it will show up in a urine test, im not really sure. i mean from my knowledge id guess that if it is still in your "system" that the chemicals used to find the THC would still be able to detect it in your pee.
