ya dude i have a cam, but i left in my buddies car last week when i went matasuke hunting. i took a few pics with my gf's cam.of a lib cap 1.5 inches wide!!will post soon.
shit got really frozen last night.i think its coming to an end.i am lucky i went out yesterday. even though it was pretty cold there were still lotsa pins though. so maybe a few days.today will be spent rescuing my out of town cyan patch. its supposed to snow monday or tues. fuckin horseshit,it was supposed to be a very mild winter.

Yeah this winter shit really hit me hard too lol... a 1.5 inch cap, nice one!... I should have measured my fattest cap this year.... Good luck with your cyan rescue mission!...Shit,...now I wanna put the 007 theme but It's just not the same typing it, as hearing it :foreheadslap:! lol ... Most people are saying good bye to semi season 09, My journal is lifeless and my "Lib locations" thread has slowed to a crawl  :shrug: I got find something else Lib related to generate discussion!  :crymeariver: I dunno... Maybe I should start recruiting more Lib hunters to join the shroomery? I just feel like I there's gotta be something else about Semilanceatas that I can be working on!... Fukin winter... Maybe I gotta take up Art again!... If anyone's got lib pics or stories,"Get 'em up" lol.... I'm withering away!  :oldman:

why dont you try the impossible task of growing them then.? there seems to be some success at this now a days. i knew one of the rare guys to achieve this over 10 years ago. i wish i knew where he was these days.:frown:

now drool time,look at this late in the year monster from a few days ago.how the fuck did this momma not get spotted and get to grow to full potential like this! this field is picked regularly by a few others too.

and here is a pic a lone semi from my flatty field. not sure if you saw that thread on "flatties".but the flatty is on the left obviously for comparison with a true sturdy classic liberty cap.

lol yeah I found one monster cap my last hunt of the season, also in an area that is regularly picked!... I think some people think they are so big they can't be Libs lol... I've been doing some comparisons with Lib shapes etc. "Flatties" are pretty interesting... I tend to get quite a few of them in a season... I'm going to check out your thread now!.. Thanks for the pics!.... As for growing I've always been a hunter, Libs would be a challenge for sure... probably not something one should take on for an initial attempt though!... I've followed Workman, CaptainFuture & 13Shrooms closely and find it all super fascinating! I think maybe it's better left to the pros for now.... maybe someday! :mushroom2:

found a handful today while fishing.we had a hardcore storm last night so some are kinda beat but there was still some freshies.it warmed up again,pine apple express is sweet. hopefully it will keep it going!

Yeah..."Down Home"... in the Styx we used to get them right up until just before December... I'm sure maybe where I live now there may be some November spots still... But my best spots dried up in October :crymeariver:... It's too bad because my first find was the last day of September... One month just isn't enough... It should be 1 month off, 11 months for Libs!... though maybe that would cause problems in my work & personal life... lol what with my "Addiction" and all :grin:

no amazingly that was just one field!! and i hauled about half that amout a few days later from the same field i had over 100 grams dry weight in the end! :thumbup:
