And I would think that RGS would be your best bet of success.  Smaller grains easier for the heat and steam to penetrate and sterilize.

RGS is said to have a very high endospore count. Fractional sterilization works, most do not do it right. This attempt was not proper fractional sterilization procedure, so should not be considered a failure of FS.

thats right when i had a PC i cooked all my jars
some shit happened and i went to jail all my supplies got tossed
and my PC was sold
i havent grown any thing in almost 9 months
this was my first attempt back at it

i didnt even open this tub i just tossed it

i have noticed that too
and i made it a practice to PC all my contaminated jars
when i get my PC monday i will continue to do so
thats the way i have always done it and will always do it

Try 24 hour soak, wash, 30mins boil, wash, drain, 90 mins high boil in the jars. It always works for me...

Have never had any mould based contams in a jar at least, did you knock them up in a glovebox or something similar?

if you are going to try it again maybe use jars instead.
sometimes when i use too big of tupperware bowls i get contams if i dont pc long enough.

Come to think of it, my wbs based control jars always seem to show large amounts of mould in the stages before the final boil, if you 30min boil the grain and put it in the fridge for a day or two befor 90minning them, they dont seem to show any obvious contams at all.

After the final boil, i only ever occasionally see Bacillus or sour spot contams in the jar and only at a managable level. I was surprised you got mould for sure.
