quart jars and contamination

if using a quart jar with grain and the grain/myc becomes
contaminated, after scooping out the contaminated grain/myc,
is the jar ok to use again if soaked in bleach and antibacterial soap? or do you have to pressure cook and sterilize? how about the lids and bands?

Use a mild bleach solution (like 20% bleach or so and the rest water) to wach the jars. Of course, you'd still PC them when making up a new batch but the bleach should kill any contam. From m experience anti-bact. soap isnt strong enough really.
