on what do you base the fact that the life being constantly born is not just NEW life; why call it re-birth?

No, because to me, life/spirit/whatever, holds no more importance over form. That kind of discrimination is, in essence, a perpetual denial of Nature, a sort of...transcendental beyond, which in actuality should be called mystery.
For some reason, humanity hasnt been able to grasp that. Probably because of a little thing called faith.

Well, the life force remains the same. In two beings the life force is the same. They either have it and live or they don't and are dead. I can't distinguish between one life force in one being and another. It is always life and it came from life, so it seems there is only one life force just like there is only one death.

You really think this was true in Tibet? The buddhist there when they ate meat had hindus kill it so they wouldn't get the bad karma. The military was of different status also. There was lots of bs from what I've read and I've read a bit.

From the way you put that, it sounds as if you endorse a caste system.  If you just read a book it all sounds fine. Try going to India and other Countries and find out how they actually live, and treat their neighbor. If you read the words of Jesus it sounds great. Go out and watch Christians, and they don't seem to be walking in the same footsteps! It's the same everywhere, every Religion.
