Boost Mobile cell service

Does anybody go through Boost Mobile for their cell service? $50 / month for unlimited everything with no contracts seems ideal to me.

Do any of their phones (i9 maybe?) take a minisd card? It says they have built-in memory for mp3 playback, but if I used my memory card for extra space, it'd save me from having to drop some cash on a new IPOD as well.

I thought about going with these guys, but almost every review of the service I've read seems to be horrible.

I' tried them for about 3 calls, I can only get service from verizon and
AT&T where I'm at, went through 5 other providers all claiming they served
my area and there's o reception at all

it's entirely dependent on your area.  some places get great service, some don't.

i used boost for about a 8 months (incidentally, the month i stopped service was the month that the $50/unlimited was instated) and was always quite satisfied.  but i didn't leave my city often, so it depends on how often you travel.  having no contract was a huge plus. 

i doubt any of their phones have a microsd slot, though that shouldn't be hard for you to find out.

also, if you work for a large corporation or chain, you might want to call sprint and see if you can get an employee discount.  they have TONS of employee discounts available, up to 25% (usps, some airlines, some banks).  it would require a contract, but you'd have more options for phones and could end up hardly paying more than the boost monthly cost.

i work for a family owned business, so unfortunately don't qualify. thanks for the info though. looks like i'll be going back to at&t with the iphone. i just hope a 50 gig model doesn't drop right after i get one :mad2:

I tried boost mobile unlimited plan for a month and dropped them. It would take hours to receive or send text messages(if I even got them) and calls wouldn't go through numerous times(incoming and outgoing).

Boost mobile blows. It brings frustration and ruins families!!! and causes birth defects i'm sure
