Can i get a new cell phone for free?

I got a crap verizon lg. but any call i make over 5 minutes i get disconnected... And i cant send text messages half the time...


So yea the service in my area is good for everyone else. if i go in do u think they will give me a new phone?

buy insurance on your phone, from your celly company, wait a month, report aid phone lost,

pay $50 deductable, get phone cancel insurance

thats a phone for about $60
best deal youll get.

You can replace a defective Verizon phone without going through insurance. I've had a lot of experience with verizon's shit phones and shit service. The secret is that every Verizon store has a different idea about how much they are willing to help you. Anyway, though it won't be fun, I am confident that you can have the phone replaced for free if you can convince them it is defective. Here's what they will put you through.

Roaming update: This never works. They dial *228 on your phone and it updates the list of cell phone towers. Then they sent me on my way and I called my dad to let him know. The call disconnected in the parking lot.

Software update: They take your phone for about an hour and you go pick it up afterward. Might not work, but it's one step closer to a replacement phone.

THEN you can finally get a replacement if you con convince them it's actually defective. And don't doubt for a second that it is. Verizon's service is good and if your calls are dropping it's a defective phone for sure.

If you can't convince the employee at your store to replace for free, go to another store.
