and your not working or dead... pick it the fuck up.. even if you dont want to do anything and you wanna sit on your ass and pick your nose, just say that...thats what its for..... i hate people who never pick up their phone more than those people who use it too much

If its my house phone I let the machine get it because I have a lot of people calling in who I dont wanna talk to. The exclusive people whom I actually want to talk to call my cell phone. Its a simple setup.

everyone has annoying people who call all the time... i just pick it up and if they have nothing important to say i tell them theyre annoying and hang up..

at least i make my position known. and dont avoid people

I never answer my phone because no one ever calls me. Occasionally people do call me but it's never important so I don't bother to answer because if it was important they would leave a message.

every time i pick up the phone im informed of a new bill, charge, service fee, security deposit or some other new bullshit money stealign scheme set out by some form of "public service".  friends can call twice if they need to talk.

plus phones cost $.  money i dont like to spend :smile:

I HATE when my shady ass friends don't pick up. I love my friends, and vice versa, but even if they don't feel like hanging out, TELL ME!

There are few things that frustrate me...But not being able to get in touch with someone when you *know* that the phone is on their hip is the worst.

I hate when people care whether or not I pick up my phone. If your calling and have some dire need that needs to be addressed, leave a message. "Get a Pager Then." Right, so that in the unfortunate event that my house catches on fire the fire department can page me. Resumes look really spiffy with pager numbers too.

I screen my calls sometimes. My bloody phone never stops ringing some days. It's enough to drive me fucking batty.
