you can check their cell phone or email or what ever you want, but its still an invasion of privacy. if you want to justify it buy saying your paying for it and therefor you can do what ever you want to do no one will stop you but at the end of the day its invasion of privacy and shows the kid you don't trust them. which in the long run is going to make them much less likly to open up and share things with you.

but to answer your question no, i wouldn't check my kids cell phone logs.

It saves to have free incoming calls when you receive a few thousand calls a month. Also that walkie talkie crap is awesome.
