There is no egolessness without ego.
I am the ego.

The ego is a basic part of the personality structure. It helps us navigate reality as individual entities. Because of our cultural programming IMO most or all of us are neurotic to some degree. This is what I call an unhealthy or unskillful ego structure. This then is the problem. The question for humanity is, can we collectively overcome this and create healthy ego structures. For the individual it's entirely possible IMO. At least to vastly better the ego functioning. Nobodies going to become perfect. Material life doesn't work that way. But one can become much happier and healthier IMO.

I wonder though, what if.. all this talk of ego loss is misguided. What people are actually experiencing is an 'omni-ego' that embraces every fibre of its reality, thus dissolving borders and making it harder to -see- one's ego .

EXPLAIN YOURSELVES!

You can only seek a state of egolessness with the ego
So the seeking itself is the fallacy
The 'seeker' is the ego

Seeing through the seeker, is 'egoloss'

Not sure I understand. Can you go into this a little more.

I see through the mechanisms of my ego programs. Does this mean I have achieved ego loss?

no one achieves egoloss

no one really achieves anything but egoloss is the pinnacle of this

that said, i have not achieved egoloss

but the mind that is experiencing my current ego has had states of consciousness akin to what one might consider egolessness - though briefly

it's nothing magical really :sun:

How you do you acheive seeing through the seeker?
You stop seeking for something outside yourself & see who the seeker is...

This can sound really spacey or something, but im serious

You simply stop seeking & realize what is here...now, forever
Who am i?

:peace:

Actually that sounds scary. I think that's why many people don't want to think about it.
