Since no one seems to be reading the article, I feel the need to be more specific. This post is not about flu vaccines.

Flu vaccines (seasonal and H1N1) are up to personal choice and how the flu has affected you in the past. If you feel like you want to die when you get the flu, you probably want to get the shot so you don't have to deal with that shit this year.

The thread is about parents who chose not to immunize their children out of the ridiculous fear that their children will become autistic. They won't. Cut that shit out and get your kids vaccinated. Yes, they might become sick for a few days. Better to be sick for 3-4 days than sick for 2-6 weeks in the hospital or dead.

i won't allow my children (if i ever have them) to be immunized, unless they choose so as adults. there's little reason to vaccinate anymore for viruses that were virtually eliminated in this country years ago. one exception, though, would be foreign travel if the country had a high rate of infection

Vaccination is societies first line of defense against some really bad diseases.

exactly, the chain has been broken. the viruses are not prevalent in this country. thus, there is little to no reason to still give them.

my sister had Whooping Cough for months when she was infant... and my mom is very "pro vaccines". She is a nurse.

I'm sorry. But that is the harsh reality that the vaccines you were given protect against.

If enough people stop vaccinating their kids, these diseases will be back in all their glory.

Vaccines make it less likely that the disease manifests. By coll;ective vaccination you drive them back. If you refuse to vaccinate, not just the uninoculated kids are at risk, but the inoculated kids are at elevated risk too because the diseases will return to their school environments.

Chronic Potential Health Effects:

liver, and bone marrow. Chronic exposure to mercury vaporsbehavior/central nervous system and peripheral
nervous system (depression, irritability, nervousness, weakness, ataxia, fatigue, tremor, jerky gait, limb spasms,
personality changes), metabolism (anorexia, weight loss) and cause gastrointestinal disturbances which is
collectively referred to as "aesthenic-vegetative syndrome." Chronic ingestion may cause accumulation of
mercury in body tissues and may result in salicylism which is characterized by nausea, vomiting, gastric ulcers,
and hemorrhagic strokes.

It would cause immense suffering. It will cause a lot of people you see in the street to be disfigured to some degree, pox scars and so on, more people on crutches and on respirators.

If we hadnt eradicated smallpox through vaccination, you or several of your friends could have had an episode like this somewhere in their life:
