I read this article a few days ago in Wired magazine. I suggest you tinfoil hat wearing retards read this article before you have kids.

Since no one seems to be reading the article, I feel the need to be more specific. This post is not about flu vaccines.

Flu vaccines (seasonal and H1N1) are up to personal choice and how the flu has affected you in the past. If you feel like you want to die when you get the flu, you probably want to get the shot so you don't have to deal with that shit this year.

The thread is about parents who chose not to immunize their children out of the ridiculous fear that their children will become autistic. They won't. Cut that shit out and get your kids vaccinated. Yes, they might become sick for a few days. Better to be sick for 3-4 days than sick for 2-6 weeks in the hospital or dead.

Use your own head.  Not the poop that others are attempting to fill your head with.

Think about it.  This isn't smearing cow-pox puss on an open cut.  This is putting things, of unknown origin (to yourself) directly into your blood stream, in hopes that it will infect you with a virus.

Viruses evolve.  They change.  They progress.  So you get this one, the next evolution will still hit you as hard.

Aside, if you take care of yourself, you'll be fine.  If you're responsible when you get sick, others will be fine.

Everybody just relax.  Things aren't what they appear to be.

Calm down.  Just calm down.

Being responsible when sick doesn't mean a damn thing. A lot of viruses are capable of being spread before they show any symptoms.

And I am using my head and going off of what science knows. It's funny how people tend to pay attention to the pseudoscience bullshit that makes the news like, oh I dunno... vaccinations give you autism... and ignore the real science.

Know what's gonna be funny? When parents who decide against vaccinations have kids that still become autistic AND crippled from polio. Or maybe they won't be autistic and they will be crippled and made fun of at school because their parents were idiots that denied vaccinations. Bet you'll feel like a real asshole then, won't ya?

No I dont have autism.

But, IF I did........ I might be WAY more inclined to be skeptical towards the "vaccines are perfectly safe" crowd.

And, could anyone SERIOUSLY feel that is "irrational" of me?

Either way..... rational is optional too. Everyone gets to make their own choices.....

Vaccines are probably a good idea..... But I dont think people are idiots for not wanting them. Its their life. Its their kids life. It is their choice...... or we might as well just go ahead and hook-up the mindcontrol implants now....... :grin:

hahahaha... real science, that's the most retarded thing I've ever
heard, everyone knows that medicine isnt a real science, even the
hospitals are putting that in their admissions forms in hopes that it
will avoid the millions of lawsuits filed each year

why do the manufacturers of vaccines need immunity with this new 'epidemic'?

the CDC changed the reporting procedures they now no longer distinguish
between H1N1 and Influenza-A, this way they can boost the numbers for
this deadly new virus... convenient isnt it?

It's also been shown that when you stop vaccinating for things like polio and the like.  They come back with a vengeance.
