When a mature sclerotium drops to the ground, the fungus remains dormant until proper conditions trigger its fruiting phase (onset of spring, rain period, etc.). It germinates, forming one or several fruiting bodies with head and stipe, variously coloured (resembling a tiny mushroom). In the head, threadlike sexual spores are formed, which are ejected simultaneously, when suitable grass hosts are flowering.

furthermore, the spores of ergot are SO small you cqant see them..

the sclerotium is only this [__] big and the mushroom growing from it in the rainy season is about this big "T" and the spores number in the millions inside its little head, so good luck finding those spores..

me if you have questions about lasers

Although i may advise others in a general way regarding all types of mushroom grows, and may even post question from other forums about growing "active" mushrooms, i only grow non-"active" mushrooms and edibles.
