He may get a dud from anyone, it happens anywhere.
I'm just saying why not get a free replacement from sporeworks that has been around for years instead of going elsewhere.
He paid for a syringe from sporeworks, why not get them to replace it?
As far as reputation and reliability most people who've been around these parts a long time will tell you its hard to beat sporeworks for quality and reliability.
All vendors have duds, its part of the business and it will likely always be this way in the future.
I'm not saying this spore refill center is bad/good, I know nothing about them. I just can't understand why the guy wouldn't get his syringe replaced if its not working, cause sporeworks is known for quality and good customer service.

Oh by all means get the one he already paid for I'm sorry I misunderstood you,but I would also ask for a replacement PRINT and not a syringe (as I have never had a prob with one of those YET). But I myself have recieved two dead syringes from then as of late and have read probably at least 5 or 6 posts right here on this board not to mention Mycotopia's about them selling non-viable syringes (I believe the problem may have something to do with the mail and pop xray inspections, otherwise they would simply be selling "shotty" product and I at least try to give the benifit of the doubt. But I have read alot more posts about the Sporebank having defective product as well and the FACT of the matter is they are either the exact same company or possibly "share" different products because the return address from both comapny's are EXACTLY the same.

I ordered 4 syringes and should I ask for 4 prints because they're all sold out of TC prints and I don't want to wait to have to get my spores the spores were very light to, I think I'm going to maybe switch providers if they wont compensate for this, how many prints should I ask for? and will they give a different strain? Cuz they're sold out?

You should probably only ask for replacements that have PROVEN to be non-viable. Also I asked what strain you orderd as MOST of the posts I have read about there alleged non-viablilty were of their B+ strain to be honest this is the first report I think I have heard of thier T.C. also having a problem.

I have emailed The Spore Works to let them know of my difficulty and will let everyone here know what the outcome is so that you can have an idea of what to do if you are experiencing the same problems.
As promised, an udpate:
Spore Works replied right away to my email. The are sending me fresh spores ASAP.
Just thought I'd let everyone know that those guys seem to really care about their customers. That sort of thing goes a long way in my book.
Update May 5, 2003: Five days after my email to The Spore Works, I received two replacement spore syringes. I'm very impressed by that.

Innoculated jars with B+ strain via syringe from SporeWorks. It's been over a month, and no growth whatsoever.
I'm gonna see if I can get a replacement...

Sorry for the delay, I talked to customer service and they are sending me replacements in prints. The works is the best at customer service, although I've never seen their syringes this light before, If you're going to order DO NOT GET Treasure Coast, I would get prints also they can make like 20 syringes.
