wasted spores

When your making a spore syringe how do you stop the spores from sticking to the sides of the container. I used a 1/2 pint jar to mix the sterile water with the spores. As I was mixing the spores with the water most ended up sticking to the side of the glass instead of getting sucked back up into the syringe. Most of the spores stuck to the glass and not very many made it into the syringe. How can I stop this from happening?

I have had good luck useing a flame sterilized paper clip. Just squirt a bit of water from syringe into jar. Use paper clip to scrape and stir. Presto---when you go to suck back in the syringe--nice and dark! Allso this whole procces is done with jar lid on useing the inoculation hole in lid. Hope that helps

I found this to be such a hassle the first few times. Oh gawd the failures. So fucking frustrating but good god I think I got it down.

My first attempt was contam city. I had six jars and all of them went sour. And the same for my second attempt. Third attempt went smoothly. After a few more I feel confident enough to move forward.

Suck n squirt is a valid Tek.
