Being judgemental caused me great suffering

I would like to ask for your help on my spiritual journey by sharing your advice and personal experiences.

I will make my story brief. I tripped shrooms about a year ago when I was in highschool. There was a school event and I was trippin balls right in the middle of it. At this point in my life I was very negative and judgemental. However as I sat there a feeling that I had never felt before over took me. It was total and complete non-judgementalism. I did not judge any of my peers, as I had obsessively done before, and most importantly I did not judge myself. It was extremely peaceful, and ever since then I have searched for the cause of this amazing feeling that I had never felt before. I believe that I have now found it.

I have tried searching on the internet for more information on Non-Judgementalism, but my searches haven't produced any useful results. If you know of any reasources, I would be thankful if you could show me the way.

I would also like to ask if you could share your personal experiences, I think they would help me.

So, basically you lost your judgmental ego in the right place at the right time, to change completely the way you look at things now.
I don't think any info on the net will push you further on this path. It is easy, beside being un-judgmental, treat people around you as you would like them to treat you.

I had some experiences, also with a right dose of shrooms. And after that, I learned to accept people the way they are, even if they are bad, stupid, judgmental and alike. Because they are not that way without some good reason.

people always speak of being judgmental as if its always a bad thing. Everyone is judgmental to some degree. for me being judgmental has brought me closer to my higher self, and has pretty much always kept me out of trouble, or situations i never wanted to be in.

It could be a bad thing if you come up to some guy who is obviously less smarter then you are, and just for the sake of proving so, saying "You stupid (something)." I don't know of a way you could point to someone that he is less smarter, without offending them.

So would you care to elaborate, how do you perceive this in a positive manner? An example would be nice.

that says it right there. I assess and analyze every scenario and social situation im in. I pay attention to certain patterns i notice in certain types of people, im a strong believer in archetypes. When im speaking with someone i take mental notes of the things that they are into, stories they tell about friends or things that they have done. All of these judgments usually keep me away from unsavory characters.
