I think certain rules and regulations in OTD need to be applied and enforced.

For instance:
Baby soup pictures... Fucking SICK! :grrr:
A child receiving an autopsy... Fucking SAD! :nonono:

Scat and stuff isn't as disturbing as babies/kids shown dead/maimed/bloody. It's just not right, and disrespectful to the child, especially when it's portrayed as a fucking sick "joke". You'd have to be really twisted to find things like those humorous. Shit like that should result in an instant ban, period.

I think it especially affects The Shroomery's image in a very negative way.

Some of you will say "Stay away from OTD then." You're right and you're wrong. It's still a public forum and will only do harm to The Shroomery's reputation...

True. I'm more concerned about the image of Shroomery though.

The OTD'ers don't bug me one bit, they can eat my boomers all they want.

I think my favorite one is probably FondaCox, she's done nice things for me and has a very kind soul.

well thats why they have a otd section. i am not defending baby autopsies or anything but there if different strokes for different folks. if thats what they like then wtf ever. otd is only visable to shroomery members, not anyone on the internet, and it dont take long to figure out the otd. so if ya dont like what there is to see then dont click on the otd. :2cents:

agreed there, but you cant just get rid of something because a few people disagree with it. thats what a free country is about. i seen the post your refering to and it didnt sit well with me but to each is own and if thats what they wanna see then all the power to em. dont have to agree with it but you take tjhe chance of seeing it if you enter the otd

Here's the thing:
I'm glad that OTD exists, I think it's a great example of free speech.
But I don't get why it's here on the Shroomery.
What does all of that have to do with the Shroomery's Mission? How does scat porn help demistify magic mushrooms?

It never fails to amuse my that it's always the kids with 08/09 reg dates that can't deal with OTD.  The OTD forum predates you guys by years.  If you don't like it being part of the shroomery then try mycotopia.
