Tyvek is used for gas exchange all the time with grain jars. That's all I ever use now. 100% sealed LCs are a pain and added complication IMO. LCs do not require much gas exchange when there is air space inside the jar, but when you have tyvek it filters and allows gas exchange.

It's just better than micropore tape and does not require a filter syringe.

LC can work with just tinfoil over the lid, one hole for extraction, and agitation. Thanks _OttO_ http://www.shroomery.org/forums/showflat.php/Cat/0/Number/5238137/page/0/fpart/1/vc/1 works every time.
