I have no idea what vision i have. All iknow is it sucsk! I have to wear contacts, but i'm all out of them and no money to buy em, so i have to squint like crazy :crankey:

there aint enough choices.. my visions bad but i choose not to wear glasses or contacts.. wheres that option??

id rather have my vision bad and stay this way rather than make it worse by wearing glasses. plus, id look like a fool

yea but i still dont like how they ruin ur vision even more. i mean, imhappy the way my vision is now, the blurryness doesnt bother me too much n id like to keep it how it is. i dont want to have to make myself wear contacts because i cant see at all. that would sukk

i've got glasses...but i've learned to get around without them. i usually just leave them in my car for long drives.

if your a shy person and have difficulties in social settings if you remove your glasses you'll begin to see

well i know if you wear glasses for very long periods, your eyes keep adjusting thus getting worse. thats usually why people update their perscriptions to a stronger one. n i wouldnt doubt contacts can do it too. i mean, its the same thing, you just put it actually on your eye instead. i just dont want to risk it. n glasses r fugly, everybody who has glasses looks better without em, imo

If I recall, I was -3.75 in one eye, -4.25 in the other.

I got Lasik.

24 hours later I was 15/20 (better than 20/20 vision). 

Its an incredible feeling to being completely dependent on glasses and contacts to seeing better than normal human vision.

My eyes are good but, Not prefect this thread is kinda crazy because last night while tripping on mushrooms it was like the mushrooms made my vision better. lol

how old were you when you got lasik?  i hear our eye's change for the better part of our lives, and that they can only lazor you up once

im way to worried about going blind from that crap too

I actually have perfect, not decent vision.

My vision was measured a few years ago to be beyond perfect. 30/20 vision. 20/20 considered perfect.

I was 27-28.  For the most part, nearsightedness doesn't change much past a certain age.  In my case, my prescription had been stable 4-5 years or so.

They can definitely perform lasik more than once.  In my procedure, a free "touch up" was included, but I didn't need it.

Chances of going blind are basically zero.  The area that the laser can carve/cut is extremely small.  It would be like cutting off a finger with a paperclip.  Probably possible, but not really.

One of the best investments I've ever made IMO.
