I have this habit with my contact lenses.
    #9448136 -

Where I'll press my finger lightly on the center and gently rotate around a bit to relieve any dryness I might be feeling or clear an eyelash out.  I rarely ever take them out, even to sleep.  They were getting pretty dry last night so I dropped them in the solution and forgot to put them back in today.  Just now my eye felt kind of dry so I stuck my finger right in the middle to move my contact, and OWWWW!!!  No contact.

my bad habit was not taking them out to sleep

i finally went back to glasses after getting tired of dealing with contacts.  sleeping in them even infrequently can cause some nasty eyes problems

You can't feel them until they dry up, they're actually really nice.  I just don't rock the glasses too well, and insurance would rather give me free contacts than glasses.

Urkel has huge ass eyes.  He could theoretically just take the lenses from those frames, throw some solution on them, and wear them as contacts..

I do the same thing.  What you're actually doing is breaking up protein buildup that forms around the edges of the lens, thus allowing your natural moisture to seep underneath again.

I've been too sick before to remember to do that and when it gets stuck to your eye it hurts like a bitch.  Now I just take em out and put on my glasses (first pair ever) if I think that I might be too outta it to upkeep my lenses.

My glasses came free with a year's supply of lenses.  I wasn't a big fan since they irritate my nose and I thought they'd also accent the fact that mine is rather above average in size, and that a lot of people are douches about what should be seen as a sign of physical strength.

But neither of those are true, I got used to the feeling (like wearing a watch), and it actually looks pretty good.  My only regret is that subsequently after getting these frames, I discovered that a lot of the artsy film critic people like them too, so that's the only thing remaining that makes me reluctant to wear them.

I use breathable contacts. Allows me to sleep with them should I choose. You really shouldn't wear them for that long. You can lose some vision.

Yeah my vision has definitely gotten worse.  Not so much when they're in, but when they're out my vision is definitely the blurriest it's ever been.  I refuse to get lasik until

A) They perfect it
B) I can afford it

In the meantime I'm def. removing my contacts before bed from now on.

I think pretty much every contact wearer would say the exact same.

I have worn them for 3 years now. My vision has not changed a bit. Only your Optometrist can tell you if your eyes are getting worse or better. Some people's vision gets worse over time, their entire life.

Mine's gone from -2.5 to -3 in about 5 years.
