I'll start:


Elesdious
Akin to, or referring to, LSD or the mindstate it brings about.
2CE is quite elesdious visually, but less so mentally.
Having scored a sheet, nothing would get in the way of our elesdious initiations.


Vomitment
The state of mind after the turning point, when being nauseous and fighting to hold it in has transitioned to the conscious decision that you want to puke to get it out of your system. A commitment to vomiting.
If you can't muster vomitment, don't try Ayahuasca.
He showed quite some vomitment placing a pitcher of koolaid on the ground next to the toilet.

i used to debate back in high school.

i was always inventing new words to out-smart the other team.
i remember i had this one extremely vague and ambigious term that I had created

"ambulescense"

i would just throw it out there any time I needed to add some confusion into the mix...
if they would ask me "what does ambulescense mean, is that even a word?"

i would like jump up and exclaim:
"WHAT!? you dont know what that means!? when you aren't even doing proper research on the topic at hand, you are insulting me, my debate partner and the judge"

i would NEVER define it, because it has no definition. the word inherently was created not to have a definition. therefor can it even be considered a word?

i also remember....

in debate you have a resolution, which is what needs to happen, and you must create a plan. and logically you need to have a way to finance your plan.

but really young newbish debaters would not always realize that certain plans did not cost any money....such as a plan that was to overturn a specific court case....or to repeal the patriot act....something along those lines. a lot of plans DO cost money....and usually its a major part of debate, to argue how the plan will be funded....it usually leads to implications dealing with economic decline and fiscal discipline....

so if anyone asked us "how much is this plan going to cost"
i would go "ahh!" and point my finger up and go...
"i say, i say"
and i would walk over to my tub and pull out this fat ass bag of pennies....present it to everyone...walk back to the podium and slam the damn thing down on it.
"all we need is a photocopier"

some teams still never got the joke.

youd probably only think that was funny if you were a high school debater lol

u would be laughed out of college debate lol.

however i admit that one time i was debating flag burning (i had the affirmative saaying we should ban it) and I ran out of things to say so i just said that not banning flag burning would result in thousands upon thousands of dead american babies.

It was an inside joke because we were watching palestinian propoganda videos and the main argument presented was "Look! Dead babies! Therefore israel is evil!"

So basically "Dead babies!" is a cop-out argument.
