If you outran it on a bike and lived I doubt they are very harmful.  I mean, if they got to earth they probably could have killed you outright without even thinking about it.

I'll send you a PM after I wake up Ego Death. I need to get some sleep right now. I actually did get pics and video of them on my cell phone but the ones I took pics of were different than the ones I mentioned above. There were three of them at the recreational park down the street and those are the ones I got the pics of because they were the brightest from my vantage point. There were another four of them way across the valley that my street overlooks. The ones in the adjacent field had very small lights so I wouldn't have been able to get pics. All of the ones I saw last night had just red lights. I'm going to take my digital camera out with me tonight though. I'm sure I'll see them again tonight. I've literally seen dozens of them the past two nights. That's why I think everyone will know about them soon. I wouldn't be surprised if tomorrow the whole world finds out about them. Everyone reading this should go out and look in the night sky tonight. I'd like to know if this is just in my area or if they're showing up in excessive numbers all over the place. A lot of the ones I saw the other night appear to look just like stars except they have an unusual twinkling pattern and they hover all over the place.
