Dumped and looking to get back into the swing.

Ok, so my GF dumps me a couple of months ago. It was expected and I really will not go into the details.

I have been out of the game for a long time and was wondering if anyone had any advice on good places to meet new people. Bars? concerts? etc.

Seems the old hangouts are gone and the old nightlife spots are dead.

How do you find the happening parties and good hangout spots?

go meet people, easy as that
im sure u see them gathering at random places, yes bars and concerts are some of them

its easy to meet people when your in school/participate in something people go to all the time

and its easy to get out of a loop when your in a relationship and feel satisfied


but get out there man, not gonna make many friends in the anon forum

Bars aren't ideal because
1)competition
2)chicks know your drunk and assume you're trying to get ass
3)skanks

If you wanna meet easy girls to fuck, then yah bars are great. 

If you're looking for quality then try meeting chicks doing things you like to do.  Join some clubs/groups of interest etc, and don't be afraid to initiate conversation.  It's easier to talk to chicks this way because they don't have a "wall" built up like they do at bars.

^^^^exactly. don't meet women at bars and clubs.not to say that good women don't go out its just that they are vastly outnumbered at these places by skanks who are really just carboard cutout imitations of what a real woman is. also understand that when you approach women at clubs they are likely to see themselves already as the object of value, and it should be the other way around.

meet women doing things you are into, just out running errands, through your friends, or at school/work. learn how to have a conversation with anybody (not just chicks) and hold one without seeming boring or stupid. this will get you far.

I have no problem holding a conversation, however I was asking for places to hang out.

Friends, have you ever been in a relationship? First thing is, she does not want you to hang with your friends. Have called a few but all my old friends but they have settled down.

Work, Well I am self employed so I really don't meet people at work

School, I have not gone to school in many years.

Out running errands??? Ok, I do meet people when I run to the store but, well, it is not like I get to know them.
