Great OP, I agree completely.  I spent the first decade of my life (and 4 weekends a year since then) in Jersey, and I have much love for the state.  People talk way too much shit about it:  Sure, there's a bunch of guidos and new fuckin haircuts - but for the most part it's just as chill as anywhere else.

Plus, highest GDP/capita in the U.S :awesome:

I just did some hiking in the swamp myself, it's one of my favorite places to be. I didn't even know they had swamps in the northeast.

i love how your people rally together and do shit like that ie bought the swamp

here we have no chance cause we're practically thirdworld

the multinational companies own our polititcians and you cant out bid  conglomerates especially a greedy ones

same as our housing market

its hard for first time home owners to get a fair price on a home at an auction when the other bidders have cell phones and are agents for foriegn buyers

all the land and homes here in sydney are overpriced

ahh I've been mentioning this fact for a while :lol:


I'm in monmouth county, I think it's pretty damn nice here...taking the train north is depressing...it's all abandoned factories and industrial urban wastelands - which is the part of NJ pretty much all out of state traffic gets to see
