Discuss.
First episode fucking OWNED. Buscemi is the man and I absolutely loved how deep the show got in terms of exploring the characters and setting in the first episode. Cant wait for next weekend!!

the first episode was awesome, ive watched it twice but both times i was really stoned to the point where i cant remember many specifics of the show. from what ive read from the critics the first episode was the "slow" one and all the other episodes are totally kick ass.
I love the depiction of the temperance movement, hopefully this will change some peoples minds on drug prohibition.

First series I will continue to watch in years upon years.
I normally cant stand anything on TV but I have a hard on for Buscemi and the first show was great.

This series is going to be amazing. As soon as they introduced Capone I was like awwww yeahhh. And the episode only got better from there.

I had a huge grin on my face when Capone introduced himself.
Scorsese only directed the first episode but will direct more in the future and is actively involved with the making of the show.
I loved the "slowness" of the episode. I felt like the pacing was perfect to accurately and carefully introduce the lay of the land to the audience.

This show has potential to be great. Easily one of the best new shows in a long time.

yeah man he plays the perfect role in that show, it seems like all other roles he does are like some creepy nasty character which plays off his facial features, but finally he stands up and takes the main stage with this show I really enjoy it., All the characters play such good roles, its really well done.

i too am quiet a hater when it comes to series. as so many are just so meh. i hear people at work, on the streets, through the grapevine ranting and raving about certain shows and me checkin em out and being like, wtf. this show i decided to download after seeing a flyer for it at the hotel i work at and just gave it a shot. been hooked ever since. now that im caught up on all the episodes, i can never wait for the next one more than i can remember any series in a while. i dont have hbo so i have to wait the next day to download it. but whatever. buscemi is awesome. i love whats her name, Mrs. Shroeder? the irish chick that he is with right now too. shes real hot to me and i love her accent, whether it fake or not, something about her everything turns me on. but bottom line, the show is fucking awesome. it was funny to see markie mark whalberg as one of the directors or producers. cant remember. i find him to be a great actor and talent. i think hes realy gona get to stretch his legs in his creativity on this one and show what hes made of. best show ever possibly. lovin it!

Agreed, but it's up there for sure. My show ranking is
Breaking Bad Boardwalk Empire Eastbound and Down The Walking Dead Dexter
Does anyone else remember Chaulky as Omar from The Wire? That scar on his face makes him the badass no matter what role.

ive seen all of eastbound and down. i gotta say tho. not the biggest fan. kinda a bit run-on to me. i try to like it more than i do. its a good show to like veg out to for some cheap laughs. just my humble opinion as i just caught up with it. i like it enough, but, not as much as alot of other stuff.
