I know plenty of successful hunters who accurately shoot with both eyes open. The number of eyes open is not a measure of how accurate the shot is, it all depends on the individual. He may have lost his dominate eye but he seems wise and professional enough to easily adapt to his other eye.

To be absolutely honest, I don't think buschemi is the real star of this show, even tho it focus solely around him, the other actors in this show are amazing, more so I think because of the fact that alot of them are mostly unknown, and what an amazing job they do. Like lil miss pussycat who gets pregnant, that last episode she was amazing in, so well done, the entire first season I thought she was just some nuance but she has really come around, and I think she's capable of putting some serious pressure on both the detective and nucky.

10 seconds later, boom. Waiters glass shatters and nails him right in the head with a .308 . Richard is a good shot for a dude with only half a face.
so awesome

fuck. im completely caught up on this series and love it. the only two shows ive been watching before are dexter and breaking bad and i think this tops them... sucks cause ive put off viewing this for awhile, had a lot of time to catch up on the episodes. now im stuck with you guys having to wait week by week to catch up.. fuck this is a good show.
scorseses has always been my favorite director, with him working as an exec. producer it really feels like one of his films. the main characters, the secondary characters..im attached to all of them. this is a brilliant show.
so glad i started watching.

It's one of my top favorite shows, that's for sure. But Dexter and Breaking Bad are so completely different, I find it hard to compare.
It's like comparing The Venture Brothers to It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia. Both awesome shows, but they're very different.

I was so bored of dexter after awhile, it just seemed to repeat the same narrative after awhile. Blah blah blah kill someone, find something to compete with etc... Boardwalk empire is getting intense, I find myself befuzzled with each move they make, trying to figure out where its going. The character development is getting so rich! I absolutely love it.

I usually devote my entire attention to it, so I have no problem.
Now if I mix benzos and alcohol like I used to do, I have to watch each one 2-3 time to remember it all. Which isn't necessarily bad, It gives me something to fill my off time with, episodes that I've already seen, but can't fucking remember.
So glad I stopped drinking again.

I can't remember anything on benzos, I really do not like them what so ever. Then again I have no tolerance to them/.

Did Van Alden really have a baby with his daughter? I recall her saying "daddy" in the recent episode. Not sure if that meant it was his actual daughter or not.

Oh ok, I knew Van Alden was a bit twisted after he drowned his partner last season, but I couldn't believe he would knock up his own daughter just to have a kid because his wife couldn't get pregnant.
Although it was New Jersey in the 20's. Anything's possible.

yeah. i remember nucky telling her to cut it out with the 'daddy' shit.
i hate van alden so much, but damn, the dude who plays him is really talented.
sucks to see nucky stepping down, i know by the end of the season he'll be back on top. hopefully he still keeps his office in the ritz, i love all the meetings and bullshitting that goes on in there.

I think deep down that is just him positioning his chess pieces. Shit is about to get intense. Between nucky wanting to talk to owens boss again in ireland, to him wanting to discuss something with chawlky, shits about to go down I think. Unless he really does retire, which he actually did in real life, and move to ireland to relax. I don't know why one would want to retire in ireland tho.

Getting gnarly. I love how this show goes from incredibly emotional and family orientated and then gets horribly violent. I thought for a second his wife might start selling dope to her new friends artsy friends. Guess not, .
