I'm an immigrant, had no father, was homeless as a kid, labelled as "weird" by everyone, few friends, no real goal in life... but I'm happy.

The ignorant here is you - the fact that you don't eve see how ignorant you are makes it worse.

You aren't happy, just so deluded by stupitidy that you dont even care for your future. Not all of us can escape our problems like you.

I don't escape problems, I accept them instead of whining about how hoooorrible life is.

Get some balls and don't post such weak thoughts in Anon.

The problem with society is you and rest of the god damn emo kids.

When in the hell did it become cool for guys to wear girl jeans and piss and moan about how tough life is.

Really, suck it up.  I know, it just "hurts so bad" and being depressed is the "in" thing.  Life is simple.  You can live it two ways:

1.  By taking things as they come and enjoying it.
2.  By blaming everyone else and being the asshole we all hate.

I see you've made your choice.  Enjoy being miserable.  In fact, why don't you write us a poem about it?

I work with a girl like this. She's gorgeous and rich, so no fucking shit life is great.

Whenever she goes on a spell of how she needs to treat herself to a diamond tennis bracelet, I want to blow her (or my) brains out.

Everything's so "fantastic" and "soooooo pretty omgz". Go through half the shit that regular people do, and then go ahead and tell me it's a beautiful fucking day!

Shut up you little bitch.  Lots of people have problems worse than yours and go about enjoying what they can without pissing and moaning to everybody, without thinking the world owes them something.

Know how they do that?  Strength.  Obviously you haven't seen that yet, it cannot be among the "everything" you claim to have already seen.  Someday you might have a taste, but for now you are a lilly little bitch.

I sometimes get a bit disturbed when I am high and see people go around smiling like everything is perfect but that doesn't mean you should rain on their parade. If people are happy being told how to live by Fox News then let them be I guess   I think the absurdity of life is enough to keep my going........... people are fucking weird and everyone has their own opinions. just take life for what it is.......... if you sit in your room all day bitching, then your life will suck :wowz:      smoke weed, chilll the fuck out!  I hate the Bob Marley-dont worry be happy thing, I think it is bullshit- but what I hate even more is emo whining! fuck that shit.  enjoy the absurdity of life for what it is!!

Okay okay I'll stop whining...

Note: I don't wear tight pants tbh... though my sister does keep an extra pair at my parents home...

Some of the posters are right but others are just the douchebags I'm talking about. It's all good though.

If drugs/tripping have taught me one thing it's that happiness is just a state of mind. Terrance McKenna had a good quote about that, how people think happiness is material possessions, vacations to exotic locations, etc. when all you really need to do is change your mindset.

Yes the world and everything in it is rather meaningless: war, people, money, religions... we were all thrown into this world naked and without a clue as to why we're here, only questions: what we are supposed to do, what happens when we die, the meaning of life.

So many people worry about trivial things that they never stop to enjoy the beauty of everything, we only focus on ourselves and the negativity. I wake up every day thankful that I'm alive and that I'll have new experiences, good and bad, because in the end all we have are our memories, so make some good ones. :mushroom2:

I understand and respect this ideology, but just how in hell do you attain it?
