Me too & even NASA said that in 2012 solar activity will be very high & that at the same time the earths magnetic field is due to become very weak as the poles switch, this spells HUGE catastrophe if they both happen at the same time, it looks like the lightest we'll get off is a few tomtom satnavs going wrong

Read the bible, study the kabbalah, study indian history, both native american and eastern. There are no magical links that answer all the questions. Every religion has text and within those words are puzzle pieces.

I'm sure you can provide us with some links that can give us some info on this. I have personally studied the Holy Bible and have found no inferences to the year 2012.

2012 is no the end of the world just end of the Mayan long count it has happened 3 times since the time the Mayans believe the world started.  the prediction actually says that there will be a change of perception world wide.  i dont know what that means but i dont think it is the end of the world.  read The Return of the Quetzalcoatl i forget who it is by i am reading it right now the Quetzalcoatl is the Mayan god who will retrain on that day.  he is the serpent seen when Mayans ingest ayahuasca- i think its ayahuasca i could be a different plant.

Don't think the Mayans did Ayahuasca, as far as I know it is not native to southern Mexico/Guatemala/Yucatan, therefore their access to it would be limited or not at all. 

Mushrooms and Salvia are the most likely shamanic tools of the Mayans.

Read my previous post on the matter. this is the time of the 2nd coming. is it a coincidence that it's around the same time frame? Is it the return of christ? or the return of a christ like consciousness to man?

According to the Mayans, it is a very great thing to survive until the end of a long count, or cycle.  To put this into context with our current situation, it will be a very good thing if we survive until 2012 in light of our destructive nuclear and biological weapons.  I see this time period as a very important crossroad. 

Our recent history shows a trend of incredibly horrid warfare (World Wars).  We have been programmed through evolution to fight, and we have gotten way too good at it.  If this trend continues, nuclear and biological weapons can wipe out the human race in a catastrophe of biblical proportions.

On the other hand, if we begin to realize our trends and current situation, including how the mind has been programmed by evolution, we will see a crossroad.  We can continue to destroy each other, or we can come together as one big organism; the human race.

I see this time period as similar to the Cambrian explosion, when single cell organisms became multi-cell organisms to survive the coming changes.  Right now, we are asleep under the illusion of separation, acting as separate groups and selfish individuals, or "single-cell" organisms.  To survive the nuclear age, we must come together as a "multi-celled" organism; the entire human race.

As separation is an illusion that has been programmed into the mind for countless years, a massive change in perception is needed.  What will bring this massive change in perception?  What is the only possible thing that can bring unity to the human race?

Truth.

I would say that the apocalypse is starting right now.  Apocalypse = revealing.  Just as evolution has been rapidly increasing due to communication technology and information availability, the truth is being revealed rapidly through the internet.  What is being revealed through the apocalypse?  The truth is being revealed.  Unfortunately, it is coming at a time when the human race is in a deep sleep, under the influence of the powerful illusions of the mind.  It will be a great thing if we can survive this Mayan long count cycle.

Christ is not coming back; he is physically dead, but his teachings are preserved through spirit.  The revealing of the truth will make it possible to see what Christ was actually trying to say.  Thus, a Christ-like consciousness will be attainable, as we are the son of man when we give birth to ourselves as spiritual beings.

As to stay on the topic of 2012, I will start a new thread on what Christ was/is trying to tell us.  I'll start it in a few hours after I grab a bite to eat.
