Yeah I read that. Bird flu hasn't gone away either though just out of the media and the real danger is one or two mutations after bird flu  which could actually kill off about 1/4 of the population.

Crash and burn might help things along though, people need to be cornered by their fears such that the only way out is acceptance IMO.

What is going to happen in 2012?  I don't know.  The future comes soon enough.
What do I think is going to happen in 2012?  Apocalypse.  Revealing.
What will be revealed?  Truth will become self-evident.
How will this happen?  Either a "crash and burn" catastrophe of biblical proportions, or unconditional love.

A catastrophe would really show us the truth, and is more probable IMO.
However, unconditional love and awakening of the masses by using this impending catastrophe as a motivator could prevent such a thing.
Truth = Unity.  Truth is the only way.
Although truth would be revealed through catastrophe, there would be no (or a very small) human race to unify.
I like to stay optimistic, in hopes that my unconditional love and compassion, and the contagiousness of these behaviors, will prevent such a thing.
Maybe we can rise above the animal level and see past the illusions of the mind.
Maybe this is our chance to get out of this cycle of destruction.
We have been destroying each other for 10,000 years; we could just end it and start over in the dark ages, or wake up.
If we wake up, I think we are in for at least 10,000 years of peace and love.  I mean, Nature always balances.
I think 2012 is a pretty good estimate for when the "apocalypse" will come.
Call me a dreamer, but I'm not the only one.

Another interesting thing that just came up in conversation with a freind...

You know how people have supossedly had visions of 2012 and everyone running around tripping out and having a big DMT flash?

Well this freind of mines parents went on a bike ride type thing in somewhere where the northern lights happen and they tripped out alot. For instance they saw dead people under the ice and also they we're riding along when the bike dissapeared from underneath them and they both started going through a white light tunnel, they would see hands coming out of the sky aswell. Sounds pretty cool.

Anyway whenever this happened it would be when the aurora borealis showed up. There are also higher rates of psychosis when solar flares happen. Now if that thing predicted in the article (don't know if you bothered to read it) happened everyone would see a very intense aurora, there would be loads of solar flares firing. So everyone may actually start simultaneously tripping out. Pretty cool, huh? :tongue:

Now that I'd love to see.
