Straight from one of the two members in Shpongle, I just recently got massively addicted to this phenomenal psychedelic trance craziness that melds mind-twisting melodies into truly haunting lines sketched above a throbbing bass.  Any other Posford fans out there?

Don't know what Raja's been up to, but I do know that I'm absolutely stoked for the next Shpongle album.

I just love that electronic female vox from 1:00- on in the first song I posted.

Simon Posford is awesome i saw him live recently. But i have never listened to this younger brother that you mention, i will have to check it out.

I would've said dmt, but I've never tried it to shpongle, so I can't really recommend the experience. Sounds intriguing though... if you try it let me know :cheers:

I saw sphongle at the cave in southern Illinois . The party was underground sound 4. Sphongle was the headliner of the 3 day party and I was not impressed at all. I am not bashing sphongle, because I am not into psy-trance at all I think it is just weird experimental noises. I am into electronic music though like house,dubstep, DnB. Maybe I saw a bad set, it happens. There will be a underground sound 5 this year in august you should check it out I drove 8 hours for this and also had some friends come from Portland,OR it is definitely worth it. peace man

I was also at the "caverave" in southern illinois, had the time of my life on 4 hits of white on white and a bunch of dmtttt. But posford didn't come on till like 5:30 a.m. so only mostly the trippers stayed up for that shit...most of the other stuff besides hallucinogen was weak. But if you guys like electronica or fucking chill out music, behold the best shit ever: Baby Mammoth. Nightmares on Wax. Bassnectar. Those are my staples lately:shrug:
