Quote: No, thats not true at all.
Not liking hip hop means your not a dirty negro.
Apparently you are an MTV spoon fed little bitch, and you honestly know NOTHING about music.
If you think hip hop is a bunch of african americans jumping around and yelling the same three words over and over again, that means you have been letting pop culture and carson dailey blind the way you see the world.
If you actually took the time to research the genre......find some good artists.......and check out what the RADIO doesn't want you to hear.......you will find some truley epic masterpieces of hip hop.
I like CloudDead........really sweet ambient hip hop band.
First of all... MTV spoon fed little bitch? I've probably seen less than an hour of MTV in my entire 23 years on this planet. Who is Carson Dailey? Sounds like you're the one who watches too much TV and is in to pop culture too much. What the radio doesn't want me to hear? I didn't realize my radio was part of an insidious plot to brainwash me into hating hip hop. Radio stations play whats popular, what people like, and what sells. Therefore... Hip hop IS a bunch of negroes bouncing around yelling the same three words over and over again. Thats why the most famous, most popular hip hop artists do this for every song. There might be some good hip hop, but if 90% of it is the crap played on the radio, then that means that hip hop is shit. You can't say the entire genre is good because a tiny fraction of it happens to not be complete and utter shit. If the stuff you liked was what was really popular and sold well, it would be on the radio.

You obviously don't understand what makes a song a "pop"ular song. Quality of lyrics definately isn't one of them.
