Those are probably a special squad. Like SWAT team or something. If cops ever start walking around with machine guns, I'm moving.

As far as Aussie police having machine guns for an unarmed population:  In what population are criminals not armed?

The machineguns/autoshotguns was in response to a simple drug raid.

My  (non-using, completely legit) brother had a 22 rifle registered to the place, which of course was locked in a gun safe with the ammo locked in a seperate safe as per the law requires.

They didn't take any chances though.

Scared the shit out of me :cool:

they dont have that shit in georgia, cops down here carry a
pistol, swat team may keep a rifle in the trunk but we dont play
that shit because we're better armed than the cops, ip there

but the news shows that more and more are being beaten, shot,
choked to death or what ever even when they're already in
handcuffs, hell, I moved fro a county that just had 2 prisoners
killed in separate incidents that were compliant and already in
jail, both begging the cops not to kill them ON VIDEO

so they took the guns from the people because they only wanted
the criminals to have guns, lemme guess, they say that the
police are all the protection the citizens need... dont they

I reckon they should take the cops guns away. I think that would be fair. I don't think they need them anyway, there's only a small minority of criminals here who have guns, so the police would only need them for special situations, not all the time.
