Im 21 and have been married almost 2 years. I would say dont fucking do it unless you as a guy knows 110% in your heart that you wanna spend the rest of your life with that person. Shit man I only got married cuz I was going into the army and they paid double if your married lol. Now that Im out and shit I wanna live my life again and spread my fuckin seeds  :awesome:

He could always get a divorce, marriage doesn't mean shit these days. A friend of mine and her gay best friend are considering getting married because they'd get more college tuition money. :shrug:

Getting married is one of the best decisions I have made.  We had a healthy, loving relationship for 7 years so when we decided to get married it didnt seem like much would change.  However, it did - and for the better.  In the 4 years that I have been married our relationship is stronger and better than ever before.

Yea the army was bullshit. I had no idea what I was getting into when I was getting married. Obviously I didnt know shit about what being married means. Shit I just found out I was gonna have a kid and didnt know what to do so I tried doing the right thing by going into the military and getting married.

The military worked out up until they told me I was gonna go die in iraq. Just about then I went AWOL and got my discharge :thumbup:

Now Im free to do what I love. I got a son that I love more than anything now but man sometimes having a wife is to much. You cant live with em and you cant shoot em right.

I love her but man I dunno maybe Im fucked up in the head but I never planned on bringing kids into this piece of shit world. I wouldnt change having a son for anything now but as for my wife. I love her but Im just tired of bullshit. We dont get along and we have different views about most everything. Im more of a free spirit and she is very closed minded about alot of things I find interesting or that are important to me. Maybe were just not compatable who knows. But Im staying around because I want my son to be able to have a dad in his life. Even though Im unhappy. I wonder how long I can put up with the bullshit.

If you are not sure, don't do it.  If you are sure it can be quite rewarding.

My advice is just make sure you are in love with the girl and not just in love with the idea of being married.

I haven't rolled personally, but I've read how it did wonders in marriage counseling.

I was talking about this with my wife today. For us, marriage is a great institution to allow a lot of good things to happen for me and her, the public commitment, children, tax breaks. The institution itself is worthless.

In all my life I have only met 4 girls that I would consider marrying, my wife being one of them. Even as a romantic, I think most marriages are a mistake. People trying to put square pegs into round holes for a LOT of reasons. I've been married over 10 years, and have a lot of kids, and it's amazing. I never thought I would be here. But most people can't do it. And that's cool.

Screw people who try to push others into marriage or children.
